Rescue Squad

The New Providence Rescue Squad is a non-profit organization comprised of 100%  volunteer members who are dedicated to providing emergency medical attention to the sick and injured.

The New Providence Rescue Squad is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to providing emergency medical attention to the sick and injured. Beyond this, their other duties include:

• Assisting in Civil Defense Operations
• Cooperating with the New Jersey First Aid Council
• Assisting in rescue operations and catastrophes as requested
• Promoting instruction in emergency care

All of the services provided by the New Providence Rescue Squad are free of charge to those in need of them. Being a non-profit operation, the Squad does not receive direct support from property taxes and relies solely on contributions from local residents and businesses for survival. All donations are tax-deductible, as we are a IRS 501(c).
