[ARCHIVED] Union County E-Bike Safety Information and Executive Order

E bike safety

Over the past week, we’ve received many emails, calls, and messages about the new Executive Order on e-bikes and e-scooters in Union County parks. We want to make sure everyone has the right information and that no misinformation spreads about what’s changing.
This Executive Order is a temporary step focused on safety in shared park spaces. The Board of County Commissioners is currently in the process of adopting a permanent ordinance, which will clearly lay out the long-term rules, penalties, and any possible exceptions.
To help answer your most common questions, we’ve created a page with FAQs and important e-bike safety information — including what’s allowed, what’s not, and how enforcement is being handled for now.
Together, we can keep our parks safe and enjoyable for everyone — riders, walkers, and families alike.
