Arboreta

The Friends of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum was founded in 1972. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and promote the development of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum and other horticultural facilities of the Morris County Park Commission. Through our continuing commitment and volunteer efforts, we foster and develop public awareness, knowledge and enjoyment of horticulture and the natural world.

A 130 acre open-air arboretum operated by the Morris County Parks Commission.

A series of landscaped alpine and woodland gardens situated in a 33-acre valley. Open to the public Monday-Saturday 10-4, Sunday noon-6. Group garden tours by appointment.

144-acre arboretum, site of Rudolf W. van der Goot Rose Garden; fragrance and sensory garden. Operated by Somerset County Park Commission. Bridal garden on arboretum grounds next to parking lot H.

Reeves-Reed Arboretum is located in Summit, New Jersey and has 13 plus acres of landscaped lawns, gardens and woodlands.
