Parking

The Borough has two parking lots for commuters:

• New Providence Train Station
  • The New Providence Train Station parking lot is located at 866 Springfield Avenue, between Willow Street and the tracks, opposite Pittsford Way.
  • Permits for Borough residents only are available at the start of the fiscal year only (April 1). Permits are then sold prorated on a monthly basis for the remainder of the year. See our homepage for details.
• Murray Hill Train Station
  • The Murray Hill Train Station parking lot is located at 1 Foley Place, at the corner of Southgate Road. Permits are available for residents (same as New Providence Train Station) and for non-residents.
  • Metered parking is also available along Floral Avenue, between South Street and Foley Place, for anyone, at $7 per day. The pay station is located at the train station and accepts cash in the exact amount or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard or Discover only) or payment via the Flowbird app. See our homepage for details.

For further information about commuter parking, call the Clerk's Office at 908-665-1400, ext. 0 or check out our homepage. Permits must be displayed on all cars parked in these lots or else a summons will be issued.
