Parking
Commuter Parking Lots:
The Borough has two parking lots for commuters:
- New Providence Train Station
- The New Providence Train Station parking lot is located at 866 Springfield Avenue, between Willow Street and the tracks, opposite Pittsford Way.
- Permits for Borough residents only are available at the start of the fiscal year only (April 1). Permits are then sold prorated on a monthly basis for the remainder of the year.
- Murray Hill Train Station
- The Murray Hill Train Station parking lot is located at 1 Foley Place, at the corner of Southgate Road. Permits are available for residents (same as New Providence Train Station) and for non-residents.
- Daily parking for non-permit holders is available along Floral Avenue between South Street and Foley Place (spots 1-41) and the western end of the main lot (spots 44-54). The fee for the daily spaces is $7 per day (plus processing fee), which is paid via the Park Mobile app. The zone is 57901 and the location is New Providence, NJ.

EV Charging Station:
Academy Lot EV Charging Station:
- The charging station is available to anyone and is located at 7 Academy Street in the back parking lot between Old Borough Hall and the Rescue Squad Building
- 2 charging ports available for 2 vehicles to charge
- Download the chargepoint app or go to the chargepoint website for details https://www.chargepoint.com/. Location is "Academy Lot".
- Borough fees for use: $2.50 per hour. Max charging time is 5 hours. Over 5 hours is $25 per hour.
